What motivated you both to adopt a rescue dog?
We have wanted to adopt a dog for quite some time. Before moving to Amsterdam, we lived in a small apartment in downtown Los Angeles, so timing and space were an issue. Once we got a bit more settled here, we started the search for a dog.
What was your overall experience like with Rescue Dogs and Cats NL?
We really had a great experience throughout the adoption process. On Instagram, the team shared detailed descriptions of the rescue dogs they’re hoping to find a home for.
The team was always willing to answer questions and address our concerns. The interview process went smoothly and we felt confident about what to expect. The adoption fee is not expensive and we had an overall positive experience.
How has your life changed since Freedia joined your family?
Freedia has been such a lovely addition to our small family - we love her very much. She is still very shy but she’s so sweet and we are helping her build up her confidence over time.
