Looking for home

Hello, we are Niki and Romualdas and we are looking for home together!

Life is not fair, accidents and diseases can happen to anyone - even the kindest people sometimes leave their pets with nobody to take care of… in this case 9 cats are left without a caregiver.

Niki (ginger 3-year-old girl) and Romualdas (grey 5-year-old boy) are therefore looking for a new home.

Niki was abandoned at the cat feeding site when she was pregnant. The local cat caregiver brought Niki in, took care of her and after a while she started showing her softer side. With Niki being more attached to human the lady didn't want to release Niki back into the street, so she joined the lady's already large kitty household.

Romualdas was found wandering in the local gardens, where cats are often abandoned or roam there looking for food. Romualdas immediately demonstrated how friendly he is with people, especially with children!

After these two met at the lady's house the two immediately became best friends. Romualdas helped Niki to get used to social interaction, and learn to love humans too!

Unfortunately despite their caregiver has such a big heart, she recently suffered a stroke and is not fit to take care of the 9 kitties in her household anymore. Thus we are really hoping to find home for the two together to continue their unbreakable bonds in a forever home.

Updated (Sep 2024): Romualdas tested positive on FIV and FeLV during his vet check prepping for travel to NL - that means he needs to be an indoor cat. Despite the viruses sound scary by name cats with FIV and FeLV can still live a quality life with extra attention and love. He is generally in good health and we hope he can enjoy a loving life at home environment!
